Affiliate Program

Overview

The Studioloop affiliate program lets you earn a signing bonus and an ongoing monthly commission for every salon you refer that becomes a paying subscriber. Payouts run monthly via Stripe Connect with no minimum balance.

How attribution works

Attribution is first-touch: the affiliate who's code or link the salon used when creating their account gets the commission. Every affiliate gets a unique referral link and promo code — either one captures the referral. Self-referrals (referring your own salon) are not eligible.

Commission tiers

Commission rates depend on the plan the referred salon subscribes to:

Monthly commission accrues every billing cycle for as long as the salon remains an active subscriber — no expiry, no cap.

Annual subscribers

If the referred salon pays annually, you earn an additional $25 annual kicker on top of the standard signing bonus.

Volume milestone bonus

Every 5 genuinely-paying referrals earns you a flat $150 milestone bonus. This repeats: 5 referrals = $150, 10 referrals = $300, and so on. Only active, non-refunded subscribers count.

Retention kicker

Each referred salon that stays continuously active for 6 months earns you a $30 retention bonus. This triggers once per salon at the 6-month mark.

Salon discount

Every salon that signs up through your referral link or code gets 20% off their first month automatically. No coupon entry is required on their end — it applies at checkout.

30-day maturation period

Commissions mature 30 days after the salon's payment clears. This window allows refunds and chargebacks to resolve before funds are transferred. A commission accrued on June 1 becomes payable from July 1 onward.

What commission is paid on

Commission only accrues on cleared, non-refunded payments. If a salon receives a refund, the corresponding commission is clawed back from your next payout. If a salon cancels, recurring commission stops at their last paid billing cycle.

Payouts

Payouts run once a month via Stripe Connect, transferred directly to your connected bank account. There is no minimum payout threshold — all matured commissions are transferred in each cycle.

To receive payouts, set up a Stripe Connect account from the Affiliate section of your Studioloop dashboard. You'll need to complete Stripe's standard identity verification the first time.

Done-for-you provisioning

Affiliates can provision a fully configured Studioloop salon on behalf of a client (importing their brand, services, and team), then hand off the account. Salons provisioned this way and subscribed by the client count as standard referrals.

Self-referral rule

You cannot earn commission by referring yourself. Referrals must be distinct, arms-length salon businesses.

Program terms

Either party may exit the program with 30 days' notice. Commissions on existing referrals continue to accrue for the notice period. Full terms are in the referral agreement available from your affiliate dashboard.
