Gift Cards
Turn on gift cards, set amounts and expiry, and look up balances
Overview
Gift cards let clients buy stored value to spend later. Open Gift cards under Grow to turn the program on, set how it works, and look up any card's balance and history.
Turn it on
Flip the Gift Cards switch on. While it's off, no new cards can be issued. Turning it on reveals the settings below.
Settings
- Preset amounts — the quick-pick values offered when a card is bought (for example 25, 50, 75, 100). Add or remove presets to match what your clients tend to buy.
- Allow custom amount — let the buyer enter their own value instead of a preset. When on, you can set a minimum and maximum so cards stay in a sensible range.
- Default expiration — how long a card stays valid, in days. Leave it empty for cards that never expire. Some regions require a minimum validity period or ban expiry altogether, so check your local rules before setting one.
- Terms and conditions — the fine print shown with a gift card (refund policy, how to redeem, who to contact).

Looking up a card
The gift cards list shows every card with its current balance and status (active, depleted, expired, or cancelled). Search by code (for example GIFT-XXXX-XXXX) to pull up one card, filter by status, and open a card to see its full transaction history — every purchase, redemption, refund, and adjustment.
Redeeming gift cards
Gift cards are spent at checkout. The AI receptionist can also read a card's balance to a client over text or a call. Issuing and redeeming at the point of sale is rolling out separately — this page is where you configure the program and keep an eye on outstanding balances.
