Gift Cards

Overview

Gift cards let clients pre-purchase value that can be redeemed against bookings and retail products. You can create digital gift cards from the console and send them directly, or sell them at the point of sale.

Creating a Gift Card

1. Go to Console > Clients or Console > Orders
2. Use the gift card action to create a new card
3. Set the initial balance (any dollar amount)
4. Choose delivery — share the code directly or send via SMS/email

Selling Gift Cards at POS

Gift cards can be sold as a line item in the POS checkout flow. The value loads immediately on the card and is ready to use.

Redemption

Clients provide their gift card code at checkout. You apply it as a payment method in the POS or console checkout. Partial redemptions are supported — any remaining balance stays on the card.

Checking a Balance

Look up a gift card balance from the client profile or by searching the gift card code from the console.

Expiry

Gift card expiry is optional and configurable. Cards without an expiry date remain valid indefinitely.

Things to Know

• Gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards
• Refunds to a gift card are supported when the original payment was made by gift card
• Gift card transactions appear in revenue reports under their own line item
